mRNA vaccines

4base lab maintains GMP laboratories for the quality assurance of biopharmaceutical drugs and is part of the process chain for the production of COVID-19 and various disease mRNA vaccines.

In particular, we perform analyses of quality in different stages of the clinical development:

Residue analyses for plasmid DNA and bacterial genomic DNA or RNA.

Control of the nucleic acid template sequences propagated in bacterial cells

RNA-sequencing by ss cDNA sequencing

Identity Testing for CDS in mRNA

Determination of 3’UTR Poly(A) Length of mRNA vaccines

Direct RNA sequencing of vaccines

RNA-derived Amplicon Circularisation Sequencing of mRNA vaccines

Products for SARS-CoV-2 analysis

RNA Control Standard for RT-PCR for the quantitative detection of SARS-CoV-2. The RNA molecule contains all binding sites of the primer and probe sequences of the Charité and CDC protocols (including the RdRP primersequences updated by Charité in June 2020.

Worksite SARS-CoV-2 Monitoring

The majority of SARS-CoV-2 infections are due to transmission by pre- or asymptomatic individuals. The limited ability to detect this carrier population before they enter a phase of high viral shedding is the main reason for failure of Covid-19 management and employee protection in the workplace.

4base lab AG started early in March 2020 to set up appropriate test systems as part of a SARS-CoV-2 surveillance plan for employees and work environments, with the aim of preventing uncontrolled outbreaks within the workforce.

We will be happy to assist you.
